Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about FareTide and how we track cruise prices.

01

How does FareTide work?

FareTide automatically monitors cruise prices from major cruise lines multiple times per day. We record every price change, so you can see full price histories and catch price drops as they happen.

02

Is FareTide free to use?

Yes, FareTide is completely free. We believe everyone should have access to transparent cruise pricing information.

03

Are the prices on FareTide guaranteed?

Prices shown on FareTide are sourced directly from cruise line websites and are updated multiple times daily. However, prices are indicative and may differ from the cruise line at the time of booking. Always verify the final price on the cruise line’s website before booking.

04

How often are prices updated?

We check prices multiple times per day. Each cruise detail page shows when it was last updated.

05

Which cruise lines do you track?

We currently track Cunard and P&O Cruises. We plan to add more cruise lines in the future.

06

How do price drops work?

When we detect that a cruise fare has decreased compared to our previous check, it appears on our Price Drops page. We show the saving amount and percentage drop so you can quickly spot the best deals.

07

Can I book a cruise through FareTide?

FareTide is a price tracking and comparison tool — we don’t sell cruises directly. When you find a cruise you like, we link you to the cruise line’s website where you can book directly.

08

What cabin types do you track?

We track prices for all available cabin categories including Inside, Oceanview, Balcony, and Suite cabins. When a cabin type is sold out, we show that too.

09

What does ‘per person’ mean?

All prices on FareTide are shown per person, based on two adults sharing a cabin. This is the standard way cruise lines display their fares.

10

How can I find the cheapest cruise?

Use our Cruise Collections to browse cheapest cruises by departure port, destination, or month. You can also use the main search to sort by price.
